Common questions
- Can you make an attachment fit a different machine?
- Usually. It depends on the weight and the hydraulics as much as the pin pattern — an attachment that is too heavy for the machine is a safety problem, not a fabrication one, and that gets said plainly.
- Do you need the machine and the attachment together?
- For fitment work, generally yes, or accurate measurements of both. Guessing a mount from photographs produces a bracket that nearly fits, which is no use at all.
- Can you build a guard for a specific hazard?
- Yes — guards for cylinders, glass and lights are common. Describe what keeps getting damaged and where the machine works, and the guard gets designed around that.
